Tea Preparation Check List...
1. The teas are prepared by our very nice tea lady Louise who lives at number 22 Taunton Avenue which is a 30 second walk from the home ground at Raynes Park. They can be picked up usually an hour before tea is taken. Please ensure Louise is paid £40 to cover the invaluable tea making service she provides the club.
2. We will need to purchase 2pts of milk prior to arriving at the ground. Less tea is consumed on a hot, and in that case 1pt will be sufficient. Please obtain receipt for all purchases in order to reclaim expenses from petty cash.
3. Sugar, cups, plates, juices and other sundries will usually be in stock in our 'Tea cupboard', located inside the kitchen, beneath the sink. The Captains on the day should be made aware of any goods that will be needed for the next home game.
4. The park ranger will open the kitchen on or before our arrival to the ground.
5. We then need to open the shutters on the counter and to check the tea cupboard for contents.
6. The tea cupboard is to be locked at all times when unattended.
7. Two jugs of squashes, for each 20-0ver break, have to be prepared beforehand and placed in the fridge. The small, clear plastic cups are re-useable. Washing up liquid is 'on hand' to for cleaning the cups. Tea pots are available to use.
8. The chairs in the kitchen should be placed in the hall for the two teams.
9. The water will need to be boiled in time for the break, and food unwrapped.
10. Clean up, wash up and tidy. Place rubbish in large bin.
11. Ensure that the sugar, cups, plates are wrapped and packed away and that the juice bottles are sealed and dry.
12. The plastic sandwich trays (5 in all) belong to us and they must be returned to Louise
13. Captain/Treasurer or other Club Officer to pay Pub for tea, and obtain receipt.
14. If any supplies are running low in the tea cupboard please let one of the captains know or email info@mordencorinthians.org.uk
Thanks all for your co-operation.
