Sport hurts.

MCCC 2nd team captain Brian Clifford is doubtful for the start of the new season after breaking and dislocating his wedding finger while playing 5 a-side football. He also managed to snap the tendon, just for good measure.

Critics have pointed out that it won't affect his batting and any Jacob Oram style threats to have the finger amputated to ensure he's fit for the new season will fall on deaf ears.

Our Aussie Superstar was stumped this Sat. Congrats to Roy and Leah and we wish them both all the best. Looks like they had a great wedding with not a cricket ball in sight.

Not sure about the rest of you lot, but after the nets on SAt I feel like i have been run over by a steamroller.

There was a good turnout at the first net session of year. About 20 people turned up with 3 or 4 new faces.
