Welcome cricket fans - only a week to go before the first pre-season net of the year. Should be an interesting occasion as we've had quite a bit of interest and a lot of people have said they are interested in coming down. The officers are meeting this week to discuss various bits of club admin. The chairman as ever is doing a diligent job making sure the finer details are seen to. Rumour has it the club are going to invest in a scoreboard. Let's hope the numbers are a bit bigger than are old scoreboard!

Only 2 weeks to go before the first net session at Kings College Wimbledon. This is the first time we are using this venue as in previous years pre-season nets were at Ewell Castle School. Depending on how successful nets are we are always looking changing the format slightly next year. The actual dates nets are on is dependent on when the season starts. 4 weeks of nets perhaps might not be long enough. An additional 2 nets weeks of nets might be considered for next year.
