Yet another week has flown by and we're getting closer and closer to the start of the 2005 season. This week has seen sporadic snow fall in London, far from cricket weather. The officers of the club are now meeting on the 14 March 2005, in the usual venue of the Horse and Groom pub to discuss those boring 'adminy' type affairs.

Flash back: Strangest dismissal in MCCC history
Imran Ahmad involved in bizzare dismissal against Old CatsDate:Not quite sure but at around 1999/2000. Morden Corinthians were batting first against Old Cats in South Croydon. Neil Castle was facing, whilst Imran Ahmad was at the non-strikers end and it was getting towards the end of the innings. What happened next? The ball was delivered by the bowler and Neil hits an uppish straight dive which was heading straight for the non-strikers end. The ball which hadn't touched the ground but hits Imran's bat and a catch is spooned to mid off. Neil Castle is walking back to the pavillion!
