The fixtures are now available on the website. I am still waiting for Jim to confirm the league fixtures which will be happening shortly after a league meeting. Not including the league we've got 80 fixtures for the Saturday 1st/2nd Sunday XI and Twenty Twenty XI. Jimbo has done fantastic job sorting this out. What would we do without him.
I have arranged a meeting with the club officers to discuss the usual boring bits of admin and club business. It's all necessary stuff given what we want to achieve this year. The club has come along away since the days of a Morden 3rd XI where we looked more like the muppet shot than a proper cricket team. I'm really very proud of where we are today and all the members and officers efforts to get us here!
Recruitment is going well with Brian "Lumboo" Clifford taking an active lead here. We already have a couple of new members join whom I'm looking forward to meet at nets. Our membership count so far for this year is 40.
