With a definite autumnal feel, this weekend wasn't great one for results. Both Saturday and Sunday games were lost but they could have been very different results.

Sunday's local derby game against The Blues was a particularly close finish going down to the wire with MCCC losing on the last ball of the game.

Saturday's game against Foot's Cray in Eltham was the season's low point with MCCC chasing a modest total of 99 to win were skittled for 34 all out with the last five wickets going without any more runs added to the score. It was a vintage Morden Muppet show. Let's hope we don't have a repeat of that too soon.
